If you are up for hiking, there are various routes ranging from a distance of 3 km to 8 km to choose from. You can hike till you reach the Hatta Heritage village showing the life of Dubai a few hundred years ago. So Yas Island has three giant theme parks inside. The Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World, and the latest
Warner Bros World. Each of them is extravagant, filled with fun rides, that are sure to give you an adrenaline rush; the latter two are entirely indoors.

Don’t be too fast to erase the picture of the calm waters and sandy beaches when you heard the term island. There is also a private resort beach which you can access if you are staying at one of the hotels inside. There is also the Yas Marina where you can indulge in a cruise along the waters of islands in Abu Dhabi.

The Ferrari World is for anyone who has the craze for cars and speed. This enormous air-conditioned atrium has a whole crazy urban set up inside it, including the fastest roller coaster in the world, the Formula Rossa. .You will experience a thrill you never thought possible in theme parks here.  You will go from 0-240 kph in a few seconds in the roller coaster, and then there are numerous other rides too.

3. Culture at Al Ain

If you feel that Dubai city couldn't get you the insight into its culture exactly, take a trip to Al AIn, around 150 km from Dubai. The most interesting aspect here is the Al AIn Palace Museum, a spectacular building that has all the stunning elements of Islamic architecture.

You will be transformed back in time inside this massive complex of buildings and its courtyards. The palace also known as Sheikh Zayed Palace shows you where the Sultan lived and how he did. The structure is made of vernacular materials and is conserved in excellent standard.

There is also the Al Ain Classic Car Museum, that could intrigue those who love vintage cars.  
 

4. Dramatic scenery at Musandam Peninsular, Oman

Oman is another beautiful part of the Middle East. Towards the tip of the Arabian peninsula, there is the mountainous part that juts into the Strait of Hormuz, creating a very spectacular form of nature known as the Musandam Peninsular.

You would be crossing the borders of UAE when you reach here, so do not forget to take your passports with you. You will have to pay the UAE exit fee and Oman visit visa fees.

While taking Musandam trips from Dubai, you have to cover a little bit further. There is a beautiful harbor there, where dolphins live. You can either just take a look in a motorboat or do a bit of scuba diving, depending on the time you have. Nearby is the village of Khasab, an escape from the rush of cities with a few resorts, a castle and a museum. This is also an ideal spot if you want to camp overnight on the beach.

You have to drive another hour from Ras Al Khaimah to reach Toro Verde Zipline. There is also a park there, and in high season, it tends to get really crowded.
